Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with 10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise-grade application development. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java 21 programming, Spring Framework, microservices architecture, and be well-versed in container platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and working with both relational (Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases. Proficiency with Redis caching and Swagger API documentation is also required.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend applications using Java 21 and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, etc.).
- Architect and implement microservices following best practices and modern design principles.
- Build and manage RESTful APIs, ensuring proper documentation using Swagger / OpenAPI.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate applications into container platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Work with Oracle and MongoDB to design and optimize database schemas, queries, and transactions.
- Implement caching solutions using Redis to improve performance and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote best coding practices.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- 10+ years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on Java (preferably Java 21).
- In-depth experience with Spring Framework including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
- Proven experience in designing and developing microservices-based architecture.
- Strong experience with RESTful APIs and Swagger/OpenAPI for API documentation.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with Oracle and MongoDB databases.
- Solid understanding and implementation experience with Redis for caching solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, communication, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience with reactive programming (e.g., Spring WebFlux).
- Exposure to event-driven architecture using Kafka or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of security best practices for microservices and APIs.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- Certifications in Java, Spring, or cloud technologies are a plus.
