We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and OpenShift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable backend services and APIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and deploying applications in a containerized environment using OpenShift.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with databases and external services.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data access and manipulation.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on OpenShift or other container platforms.
• Use Git for version control and participate in code reviews and CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, DevOps, and business analysts to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Ensure code quality, scalability, and performance through testing and debugging.

• Strong programming skills in Core Java and Java 8+
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data
• Proficient in SQL (Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL)
• Experience with OpenShift (or Kubernetes, Docker)
• Source control using Git (GitHub/Bitbucket)
• Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI – preferred)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Java backend development
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with unit testing and frameworks like JUnit, Mockito
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana)
