Java Backend With AI

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing scalable backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and cloud technologies, along with exposure to AI/LLM integrations, Generative AI, or AI-powered application development.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain Microservices-based applications.
• Develop secure and high-performance RESTful APIs.
• Integrate AI/LLM services (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, etc.) into enterprise applications.
• Work with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, embeddings, and prompt engineering concepts.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, data scientists, DevOps engineers, and product teams.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and production support.

• 5+ years of experience in Java Backend Development.
• Strong knowledge of Java 8/11/17.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security.
• Experience with Microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs.
• Experience with Hibernate/JPA.
• Database experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
• Messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good knowledge of unit testing using JUnit and Mockito.

• Experience integrating LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, or Anthropic Claude.
• Understanding of RAG architecture.
• Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Milvus, Weaviate, or Chroma.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or Spring AI.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering and AI application development.
• Understanding of AI model evaluation, observability, and optimization.

• Experience with GraphQL.
• Exposure to Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Redis caching.
• Knowledge of Terraform or Infrastructure as Code.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture.
• Agile/Scrum experience.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant cloud or AI certifications are a plus
