Java Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our backend development team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable Java-based applications and REST APIs.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL, microservices, and database technologies, along with good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.

• Implement business logic using Core Java, Collections, Exception Handling, Multithreading, and Java 8+ features.

• Develop and maintain microservices-based applications.

• Work with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.

• Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts.

• Integrate applications with third-party services and external APIs.

• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis of production and QA issues.

• Write unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.

• Participate in code reviews and follow coding and development standards.

• Work with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

• Analyze requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

• Monitor application logs and resolve performance and production issues.

• Prepare technical documentation and maintain existing application documentation.
