About the role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java programming, modern frameworks, and best practices to deliver robust software solutions that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications (web, desktop, or enterprise-level).
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Develop RESTful APIs, web services, and integrations with third-party systems.
- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely bug fixes.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
- Ensure applications meet security, reliability, and compliance standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–6 years of hands-on experience in Java development (for mid-level roles; can be tailored for entry-level or senior).
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP principles, and design patterns.
- Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Microservices, and Hibernate/JPA.
- Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue.js).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Exposure to DevOps tools (Jenkins, Maven, Gradle).
- Experience in test automation frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Selenium).
