About the role
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related technical field is required (or equivalent experience), plus a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree plus a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Agile experience preferred.
- The Senior Java Software Engineer will provide progressive and best-in-class solutions to various RESTful services, applications, and data systems using the following technologies and methodologies. Must have current hands-on experience for the following technologies: Core Java and JDK 11+, unit and integration testing experience using JUnit, J2EE, Spring Framework and JPA/Hibernate, Maven, Git and Jenkins, and JSON RESTful web service development.
- Experience developing in a cloud environment (Azure preferred).
- Solid understanding of core Java concepts and design patterns.
- Experience in JDBC, RDBMS, Cassandra, Kafka, ActiveMQ, and NoSQL. Kubernetes and Docker.
