About the role
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related technical field is required (or equivalent experience), plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Agile experience preferred.
- The Senior Java Software Engineer will provide progressive and best-in-class solutions to various RESTful services, applications, and data systems using the following technologies and methodologies.
Must have current hands-on experience with the following technologies:
- Core Java and JDK 11+.
- Unit and Integration testing experience using Junit.
- J2EE, Spring Framework, and JPA / Hibernate.
- Maven, Git, and Jenkins.
- JSON RESTful web service development.
- Experience developing in a cloud environment (Azure preferred).
- Solid understanding of core Java concepts and design patterns.
- JDBC, RDBMS, Cassandra, Kafka, ActiveMQ, NoSQL.
- Kubernetes and Docker.
