About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable backend services and microservices.
- Build secure, high-performing REST APIs.
- Implement OAuth-based authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Deploy and manage services in Azure environments.
- Establish monitoring, logging, and observability using Splunk and New Relic.
- Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design discussions.
Requirements:
- Required technical skills: Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Microservices Architecture.
- Databases: Couchbase, PostgreSQL, data modeling, and performance tuning.
- Cloud and infrastructure: Microsoft Azure, cloud-native application design, containerization and deployment practices, and CI/CD implementation.
- API and security: REST API design and development, OAuth 2.0, authentication and authorization frameworks, and API lifecycle management.
- Observability and monitoring: Splunk, New Relic, logging, monitoring, and application diagnostics.
Experience requirements:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of Spring Boot development experience.
- Proven experience building and supporting large-scale distributed applications.
- Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
