About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to system design decisions.
- Optimize application performance, memory utilization, and database interactions.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders.
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Ensure high standards of software quality, reliability, and security.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Passion for coding challenges and continuous learning.
- Experience in enterprise-scale systems and high-volume transaction processing environments
Core Java (Mandatory):
- Strong expertise in Java and object-oriented programming principles.
- Solid understanding of Java internals, JVM concepts, exception handling, and performance optimization.
Multithreading and DSA (Mandatory):
- Hands-on experience with concurrency, synchronization, thread pools, and concurrent collections.
- Strong command of data structures and algorithms.
Collections and Memory Management (Mandatory):
- Deep understanding of the Java Collections Framework.
- Knowledge of JVM memory management, garbage collection, heap analysis, and performance tuning.
System Design Basics (Mandatory):
- Understanding of scalable system design principles.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, design patterns, caching, messaging systems, and distributed systems concepts.
SQL Depth (Mandatory):
- Strong SQL expertise, including query optimization, indexing, joins, stored procedures, and database performance tuning.
- Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
Communication Skills (Mandatory):
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams.
Good to Have:
- DevOps and CI/CD: Experience with CI/CD tools and automation pipelines. Exposure to Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes, or related DevOps technologies.
- Generative AI (GenAI): Knowledge of generative AI concepts and applications. Experience working with LLMs, AI-powered solutions, prompt engineering, RAG frameworks, or AI integrations will be an advantage.
