Java Developer Santander

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications with high performance and responsiveness. You will be involved in all stages of the development lifecycle, from initial analysis and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

• Design, implement, and maintain Java-based applications.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code.
• Analyze user requirements to define business objectives.
• Ensure designs comply with specifications.
• Debug and resolve technical issues and bugs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.
• Prepare and produce releases of software components.
• Recommend changes to improve established Java application processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Java Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, and related frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Hibernate/JPA, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Good understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Hands-on experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other container technologies.
• Understanding of security principles and how they apply to Java applications.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
