Java Fullstack developer

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

Work Mode: Hybrid / On-site (as per company policy)

Reporting to: Tech Lead / Engineering Manager

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer who has strong hands-on expertise in backend development using Java and frontend development using Angular. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying end-to-end solutions as part of a dynamic team, while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Architect, design and implement new features and modules across the full stack — frontend (Angular) and backend (Java/Spring Boot/microservices).
• Build RESTful APIs, microservices and integrate with front-end components.
• Develop responsive user-interfaces in Angular (and associated frameworks) following UI/UX best practices.
• Work on database design, data access, persistence (SQL & NoSQL) and performance-tuning.
• Participate in code reviews, maintain code quality, ensure adherence to clean-code practices, architect scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Take part in Agile/Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps and other stakeholders for CI/CD, deployment, monitoring and production support.
• Mentor junior developers / peers and contribute to technical decisions, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimise applications for performance, scalability, security and maintainability.

• 6+ years of professional hands-on experience in full stack development (Java backend + Angular frontend).
• Strong Java (Java 8+ or later) experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate / JPA.
• Solid experience with Angular (versions 7/8/9+ or 10+, depending on project), Typescript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive design.
• Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs, JSON, web services.
• Familiarity with microservices, event-driven architecture or API-driven design.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) and writing efficient queries.
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git, Bitbucket), build tools (Maven, Gradle), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI etc.).
• Good understanding of DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and working in iterative delivery models.

• Exposure to API gateways, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), caching (Redis), ElasticSearch.
• Experience with UI state-management libraries in Angular (e.g., NgRx) or other modern frontend architectural patterns.
• Experience in front-end performance optimisation or large-scale UI development.
• Familiarity with security best practices (OWASP, authentication/authorization).
• Exposure to mentoring/coaching and technical leadership responsibilities.
• Prior experience working in product / enterprise / SaaS projects.

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Proven track record of delivering full-lifecycle software (requirements → design → implementation → testing → deployment) in a corporate/enterprise environment.
• Strong English verbal & written communication.
