About the role
Job Decsription:
Hand-on experience in installing and configuring Kong API Gateway and integrating with existing APIs
Experience working on Kong Ingress with Kubernetes and configurations.
Experienced in Kubernetes platform
Excellent knowledge about API design standards patterns, open API specifications and best practices especially Swagger and OpenAPI 2.0, REST, JSON, XML
Proven skill in implementing APIs that are consumed by web applications and mobile native applications
Good knowledge of OAUTH/OIDC - token based authentication protocol
Experience with AWS/Azure Cloud Infrastructures is good to have.
Experience with Application Security considerations; including knowledge of Industry standards and trends.
Should be well versed and experienced in Kubernetes platform
Good understanding of conceptual and physical design of application integration using APIs and events
Knowledge of the following is mandatory: Java, APIs , web services , micro services
Knowledge and experience of following tools are preferred: Rest Assured, Jmeter, Junit, Postman, Git, Jira & Confluence
Preferably in banking domain.
Experience in maintaining the public API specification and documentation using KONG Developer portal
Good Understanding of platform to monitor and Debug any platform or application issues.
Experience of automating Kong API gateway configurations as part of DevOps pipeline
Any Degree
Minimum 5 to 8 plus years of IT experience.
Minimum 4 years of hand on experience working in Kong API Gateway
