Job Purpose:
Ensure that schedules are released to suppliers (BOM, Non-BOM) and ensure timely supply of all required material in the plant so that delivery to customers can happen OTIF, ensuring completion as per schedule. Manage inventory levels as per budgets/ targets.
Principal Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
1.Planning, Scheduling & Monitoring
·Analyze and plan production schedules for dispatches in line with the month's business plan.
·Prepare monthly production plan and circulate to all impacted
·Review raw material requirement for in-house manufacturing plan of the components and support role in bought out parts schedule follow-up with vendors.
·Prepare and send schedules to all vendors based on MRP run.
·Follow up with vendor for WIP material and ensure timely delivery to Advik (as per schedule)
·Monitor the plan for achieving the set targets to meet the customers need - OTIF
·Review daily reports to identify and address equipment malfunctions, material shortages and other issues hampering production.
2.Management of Job Work
·Manage subcontracting activities (tools, dies and patterns)
·Monitor execution of job orders and adjust job schedule to meet the deadlines.
3.NPD Support
·For approved/ under approval NPD projects: Oversee the receipt and movement of project kits to all necessary production areas
·For the new vendors identified for the new products being developed – work with the vendors/ follow-up to ensure timely supply of required material.
·Provide the production planning and control support for new developments
4.Documentation and Other Activities:
·Ensure smooth movement of BOP stock/ Raw Material from the store by taking through proper Identification and Storage for FIFO.
·Review stock variance and ensure action plan implementation.
·Implement corrective and preventive actions on internal customer complaints.
·Monthly review meeting with PH, OH & CEO for controlling the slow moving and non-moving inventory of BOP Parts and work as per SOP.
