POSITION PROFILE Position Title Asst. Manager - QA Location Kolar, Bangalore (P40 / Brakes) Industry ADVIK is Tier I Automobile company and is leading manufacturer of Auto Components / Products like Oil Pumps, Tensioner assemblies, Fuel Pumps, Fuel feed Pumps, Fuel Cocks, Decompression Units, Water Pumps, One way clutch, Precise Machined Components like Pinions, Screws, Nuts & Control Shafts for Globally Renowned Automotive Original Equipment Manufacturers. Established in the year 2000 ADVIK is growing @ 35% every year, with 6 plants fully operational at Chakan, Manesar (Hariyana), Pantnagar (Uttaranchal), Bangalore (Karnataka) & Gujarat. These plants will cater to the requirments of HONDA & 4 WH OEMs . ADVIK is largest 2W oil pump manufacturer & 2nd largest Tenioners manufacturer, supplying 13 out of 15 Two Wheeler manufacturers. ADVIK supplies to Honda manufacturing facilities worldwide and also to reputed brands like DUCATI, Harley Davidson etc. Function Plant Quality Reports to Manager Job Purpose 1. To handle the Brakes - Assy. Shop & Machine shop quality functions 2. To visit, attend and resolve customer complaints with support of internal team. Prinicipal Accountabilities Machine shop - Quality functions To monitor and RFT Ratio of Assy. Shop Process Quality and work for continous improvement into it To co-ordinate for performance testing of all comp. as per plan and ensure CAPA for gaps observations. Co-ordinate with PDI Team to meet customer AOI (Agreement of Inspection) requirements Review the daily line rejection in SAP and ensure monthly dispoposal in system and in Physical. To work for redcution in COPQ from Assy. Shop side Visit the customer ends for customer complaints and maintain relationship with customer for smooth operation. Prepare the annual quality improvement plan in line with internal rejections and work for implemenation of Kaizen as per roadmap. Co-ordinate back side with supplier team/ Inward Quality Team/ Machine Shop Process Quality Team and Corproate Team members to improve Assy. Shop Process Quality index increase of RFT Ratio. To improve the MSA of assy. shop testing equipments/ testing rig etc. Develop the Team members knowedge & Skill towards improvement in RFT Ratio. Co-ordinate in IPT/OPT/HVPT events in NPD To improve the Q Gate system in Assy. Shop To prepare the monthly QMIS from Assy. Shop side/Customer Complaints & Warranty PPT Requirements Essentials / Qualification DME / BE (Mechanical) Experience 8 - 12 Years in Automobile & Brakes Travelling Yes (Customer ends) Functional Skills (Essential) IATF 16949, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001, CSR of HMSI/TVS/RE/IYM, SPC, MSA, PFMEA, APQP,PPAP, Assy.
