POSITION PROFILE Position Title Senior Engineer - PPC Location Kolar Industry ADVIK is Tier I Automobile company and is leading manufacturer of Auto Components / Products like Oil Pumps, Tensioner assemblies, Fuel Pumps, Fuel feed Pumps, Fuel Cocks, Decompression Units, Water Pumps, One way clutch, Precise Machined Components like Pinions, Screws, Nuts & Control Shafts for Globally Renowned Automotive Original Equipment Manufacturers. Established in the year 2000 ADVIK is growing @ 35% every year, with 6 plants fully operational at Chakan, Manesar (Hariyana), Pantnagar (Uttaranchal), Bangalore (Karnataka) & Gujarat. These plants will cater to the requirments of HONDA & 4 WH OEMs . ADVIK is largest 2W oil pump manufacturer & 2nd largest Tenioners manufacturer, supplying 13 out of 15 Two Wheeler manufacturers. ADVIK supplies to Honda manufacturing facilities worldwide and also to reputed brands like DUCATI, Harley Davidson etc. Function PPC Reports to Manager - PRC Number of Direct Reports 3 Total Number of Report 2 Job Purpose PPC, Direct Purchase, BOM Prinicipal Accountabilities Review raw material requirement for in-house manufacturing plan of the components and support role in bought out parts schedule follow-up with vendors. Procurement of raw material @ Supplier End. Manage subcontracting activities & logistics. Monitor execution of job orders and adjust job schedule to meet the deadlines. Oversee the receipt and movement of released project kits to all necessary production & assembly area. Review daily reports to identify and address equipment malfunctions, material shortages and other issues hampering production. Expedite material shortages by coordinating with Production Planning and Scheduling department. Ensure smooth movement of BOP stock/ Raw Material from the store by taking through proper Identification and Storage for FIFO. Review stock variance and ensure action plan implementation. Knowledge of TPM, IATF16949, ISO - EOHS Preparation of MIS report SAP Requirements Essentials DME/BE Experience 5 - 6 years Desirable Exposure to IATF 16949, ISO 14001, OHSAS - 45001 Travelling May required Functional Skills (Essential) sap,ms office Behavioural Skills Team Work, Presentation Skills,Self driven Key Interfaces / Interaction in the job Inter Unit, Suppliers Growth Opportunities Within group
