POSITION PROFILE Position Title Sr. Engineer - Plant Management (Dojo) Location Kolar Industry ADVIK is Tier I Automobile company and is leading manufacturer of Auto Components / Products like Oil Pumps, Tensioner assemblies, Fuel Pumps, Fuel feed Pumps, Fuel Cocks, Decompression Units, Water Pumps, One way clutch, Precise Machined Components like Pinions, Screws, Nuts & Control Shafts for Globally Renowned Automotive Original Equipment Manufacturers. Established in the year 2000 ADVIK is growing @ 35% every year, with 6 plants fully operational at Chakan, Manesar (Hariyana), Pantnagar (Uttaranchal), Bangalore (Karnataka) & Gujarat. These plants will cater to the requirments of HONDA & 4 WH OEMs . ADVIK is largest 2W oil pump manufacturer & 2nd largest Tenioners manufacturer, supplying 13 out of 15 Two Wheeler manufacturers. ADVIK supplies to Honda manufacturing facilities worldwide and also to reputed brands like DUCATI, Harley Davidson etc. Function Dojo, Safety Health & Environment Reports to Asst. Manager Number of Direct Reports 2 Total Number of Report 0 Job Purpose To ensure that all products are produced as per the specified specifications. Prinicipal Accountabilities JH Step Training 7 Type of abnormalities Identify Unsafe Conditions 5S & Safety Requirements HSC Plan & implementation HIRA Accidents / Incidents recording - CAPA Employee Medical check-ups, Analysis data maintaining RRR Project effective implementation in plant Support role to TPM/SHE Pillar IGBC requirements adherence Waste / scrap management Knowledge on Process like CNC/VMC and Assembly Process Basics of Maintenance Products being Manufactured and its application Component knowledge & CTQ (Critical to Quality) Maintain Skill Matrix of all employees (Staff & Operators) Conduct training needs assessment by collecting information pertaining to work procedures, work flow, and maintain records & reports, understanding job-specific functions and tasks. Conducts training classes by presenting job-specific, company-specific, and work specific. Audits - Internal, External & Customer Audits Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and by following manufacturer's instructions Troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; Evaluating the Trainees on the equipment and techniques required. Evaluates training effectiveness to specific job applications. Requirements Essentials DME / DAE / BE Experience 5 - 6 years Desirable Exposure to IATF 16949, ISO 14001, OHSAS - 45001 Travelling May required Functional Skills (Essential) Dojo, Safety Health & Environment Behavioural Skills Self Starter, Team Work, Presentation Skills Key Interfaces / Interaction in the job Inter Unit Growth Opportunities Within group
