About the role
- Coordinate Release activities with stakeholders, ensuring every part of the delivery chain has accurate and timely information.
- Manage and maintain software release documentation in Volvo systems (Kola, Configurator, SEWS2,etc.).
- Create release checklists together with Product Owners and organize checklist reviews ahead of release recommendations to ensure visibility of software quality status.
- Chair internal release review meetings, provide go or no-go recommendations, and assess the appropriate Software Maturity level for delivery based on risks, criticality, and business value.
- Participate in release board ceremonies as the SW Integration team representative when required.
- Identify, drive, and implement improvements to achieve higher quality and faster, more automated software releases.
- Represent the SW Integration team in global forums such as Community of Practice, and contribute to improving efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources.
- Support software QA activities, optimize I/O performance, and provide post-production support.
- Collaborate closely with development teams.
- Support cross-functional teams by responding to product-related questions and requests.
- Build and maintain a strong global network across counterparts and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Develop a solid understanding of incoming product features and plan deliveries accordingly.
- Supporting junior team members and peers- Role model of lifelong learning, sharing knowledge and developing others.
