Role SummaryResponsible for reliable electrical operations at the AAC Blocks manufacturing plant, including preventive and breakdown maintenance, equipment uptime, power reliability, and electrical safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant electrical systems, including HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, motors, and drives.
- Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, sensors, control panels, and electrical equipment.
- Ensure power reliability, equipment uptime, and timely resolution of electrical breakdowns.
- Plan preventive and shutdown maintenance and implement corrective actions for recurring failures.
- Ensure electrical safety, statutory compliance, and proper maintenance documentation.
- Supervise electricians/technicians and coordinate with Production, Mechanical, EHS, and external vendors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering may be considered with relevant experience.
Experience & Industry Background
- 4–6 years of experience in plant electrical maintenance.
- Experience in AAC, cement, manufacturing, or continuous process industries preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Industrial electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, and HT/LT systems.
- Electrical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Electrical safety and statutory compliance.
- Team coordination and problem-solving.
