About the role
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Junior Video Editor to join Neo Narratives. In this role, you will be responsible for editing engaging, high-quality video content that aligns with our brand identity and business objectives. You will collaborate closely with brand managers, designers, and social media teams to bring concepts to life across digital and social platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos for social media, websites, ads, and brand campaigns.
- Add transitions, sound design, music, subtitles, basic motion graphics, and visual effects where required.
- Maintain consistency with brand guidelines, tone, and visual identity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand briefs, timelines, and creative direction.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Stay updated with current video trends, formats, and editing styles.
Requirements:
- Experience: 0 to 2 years.
- Candidates must have a properly functioning personal laptop suitable for video editing work.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools.
- Experience with tools like CapCut and Canva.
- Basic understanding of motion graphics and visual storytelling.
Additional Skills (Good to Have):
- Basic knowledge of color correction and sound editing.
- Familiarity with social media trends and platform-specific video formats.
- Openness to experimenting with new editing styles and tools.
