Location: Indiranagar, Bangalore

Experience: 2+ Years

About Curious Digital (M)

M is a technology-first home management brand being built by Curious Digital, designed to make household chaos invisible. Backed by Tier-1 venture capital firms and currently in the alpha stage in Bangalore, M manages everything from high-frequency orders and staff coordination to in-depth, curated research.

Operating at the intersection of technology and hospitality, M believes exceptional service comes first. The hands-on service delivered today will shape the processes, systems, and technology built for tomorrow.

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, hands-on Learning & Development Manager to build the L&D function from the ground up. You will be responsible for designing engaging, highly visual training modules, developing structured learning content, and delivering impactful training programs for a young, fast-paced operational workforce.

This is a zero-to-one opportunity for someone who thrives in ambiguity, experiments with innovative training methods, and understands that effective learning is as much about engagement as it is about content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build the L&D Function from Scratch: Design the learning structure, training modules, content, and delivery frameworks to standardise processes and improve workforce performance.

  • Design Engaging Training Content: Develop highly visual, interactive, and easy-to-understand learning materials that simplify complex processes.

  • Deliver Impactful Training: Conduct engaging training sessions and workshops for a young, dynamic, frontline workforce, ensuring participation, knowledge retention, and practical application.

  • Standardise Operational Processes: Translate operational workflows, service standards, and SOPs into actionable training modules that drive consistency and quality.

  • Leverage Visual Learning Tools: Use Canva, Figma, Notion, Pitch, and other modern content creation tools to develop visually compelling training resources.

  • Support 24x7 Operations: Plan and deliver training across different shifts, adapting schedules and delivery methods to meet operational requirements.

  • Experiment and Improve: Test new training techniques, gather feedback, measure learning effectiveness, and continuously improve training content and delivery.

  • Drive Learning Engagement: Identify what motivates employees to learn, adopt new processes, and consistently follow established standards.

  • Partner with Operations: Collaborate with operational teams and leadership to identify training needs, address performance gaps, and align learning initiatives with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, or a similar role, preferably involving frontline, operational, or young workforce training.

  • Proven ability to independently design training modules, develop learning content, and deliver training programs.

  • Strong visual communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to make learning simple, engaging, and actionable.

  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Canva, Figma, Notion, or Pitch.

  • Ability to build processes from scratch and operate effectively in a fast-paced, startup environment.

  • Strong ownership, initiative, creativity, and a willingness to experiment with new learning methods.

  • Flexibility to work unconventional hours when required to support a 24x7 operational team.

  • Strong understanding of learner engagement, knowledge retention, and behavioural change.
