About the role
We are seeking a skilled Life Cycle Engineer to join our team in designing and managing the life cycle of gas turbines. This role is crucial for ensuring the longevity, efficiency, and reliability of our turbine systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering principles and a passion for continuous improvement in turbine performance and serviceability. This position will involve working with cross-functional teams to develop service bulletins and adherence to ANM standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement life cycle management strategies for gas turbines.
- Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure serviceability and reliability.
- Create and manage service bulletins to address operational issues and enhance performance.
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause determination to prevent future occurrences.
- Develop and maintain ANM compliance documentation for gas turbine components.
- Support field service engineers with technical guidance and troubleshooting.
- Lead life cycle assessment initiatives to extend turbine operational life.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance turbine performance.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all life cycle engineering activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in gas turbine life cycle management.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing service bulletins.
- Strong understanding of ANM standards and compliance requirements.
- Experience with failure analysis and root cause determination techniques.
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on performance optimization.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong knowledge of life cycle assessment methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance monitoring tools.
