About the role
Job Title: Lead - Accounts & MIS
Department: Finance & Accounts
Reports to: CFO
Location: Andheri East, Mumbai
Job Purpose:
To ensure accurate recording, reporting, and analysis of all financial
transactions, maintain compliance with statutory regulations, and support the
organization in sound financial management, control, and planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Bookkeeping
·Maintaining proper books of accounts in SAP.
·Monitor and record daily accounting entries
including journal vouchers, payment/receipt entries, and adjustment entries.
·Perform reconciliation of accounts – bank,
vendor, customer, inter company, and other ledgers.
·Ensure accurate classification of expenses,
assets, and liabilities.
·Accounting consolidation
·Ensuring timely and accurate closure of books
of accounts on a monthly / quarterly / annual basis
·Co-ordinating
and managing statutory audits, and relevant internal audits.
·Support compliance with ROC, RBI, and other
regulatory requirements (as applicable for NBFC/ARC).
·Maintain proper documentation and audit trail
of all financial transactions.
Financial
Reporting & MIS
·Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual
financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
·Support MIS preparation and variance analysis.
·Provide management with accurate and timely
MIS reports – expense summary, project cost reports, fund utilization reports,
etc.
·Support management in cost control and
decision-making with financial insights.
Audit &
Controls
·Coordinate with internal and external auditors
during audits.
·Prepare audit schedules and respond to audit
queries.
·Implement and monitor internal financial
controls.
·Ensure all supporting documents are properly
maintained and archived.
