About the role
Requirements:
- Must have at least one of the Databricks certifications: Snowflake SnowPro certification.
- Mandatory Skills: Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Application Integration.
- A minimum of 5 years' proven experience delivering complex technical change within data, digital, or technology-led environments.
- Understanding of data platform methodologies and architecture approaches (Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault, Data Mesh, Data Products, Lakehouses, etc. ).
- The ability to document architectural designs in the form of conceptual, logical, and physical models.
- Ability to discuss enterprise data and the impact on a business, including master data management, data quality, data literacy, and initiatives such as a single customer view.
- Ability to present technical solutions in a way that engages both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Modelling, Data Strategy / Governance, Data Visualisation, Data Science / AI, DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure, Application Integration.
- Experienced in the delivery of complex data and AI solutions.
- Strategic and operational decision-making skills.
- Ability to guide, direct, or influence people.
- Ability to identify opportunities and issues.
Education and Certifications:
- Databricks Certified Associate / Professional.
- Databricks Partner Solution Architect Champion.
- SnowPro Advanced: Data Engineer.
- SnowPro Advanced: Architect.
- Microsoft Azure Certifications: Data Engineering, AI, and Solution Architecture.
