About the role
RequirementsRequired skills:
- Expert knowledge of Linux system & networking internals, and Container runtimes.
- Significant experience with one or more major cloud providers - AWS, GCP, Azure.
- Hands-on with IAC (Infra as Code) - Terraform or others.
- Solid understanding of running apps in container environments, dockerising applications and orchestration using
Kubernetes, helm and service mesh deployments.
- Open-source tooling & configuration exposure with nginx, httpd, ansible or equivalent.
- Hands-on with development and deployment of CI/CD on cloud.
- Server-side scripting using bash, python or equivalent.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration and documentation skills.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Team-oriented with strong collaboration, prioritization, and adaptability skills.
- Ability to understand the end-to-end business requirements, proposing them a feasible solution & implementing
them in a better way to produce error free products for our clients.
- Systems & architectural design DevOps best practices & implementation.
- Mentoring & coaching fellow engineers.
- 6+ years of experience in the role of infrastructure, DevOps, platform or SRE engineering.
- Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle and infra engineering best practices.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Technology or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team of DevOps engineers in previous roles.
