Job brief:
Electrical Lead/ Manager who shall be responsible for the following:
- Should have experience in engineering design consultancy as a manager / lead in electrical dept
- Experienced in electrical design of greenfield/ brownfield projects for Pharma, Semiconductor, API facilities
- Should have competence to generate and review the design documents
- Guide the electrical engineers / senior engineers / draftsman/ Site team
- Responsible for HT/ LT / ELV design for plant/ facility
- Understand clean room design with respect to electrical requirement
Responsibilities
- He must have executed / designed projects with site sizes more than 40 acres
- Oversee and direct the electrical team and get done designing work within timeline
- Coordinate with Client/ Project manager to get inputs
- Estimate the efforts required for assigned work
- Do periodic site visits to know site status and guide construction teams to streamline the execution activities. Resolve the site issues related to installation, execution, testing etc.
- Involve and get below work done for electrical scope Design basis Load list Technical specifications- transformers, DG, panel etc.

Review Vendor drawings
Single line diagram
Bill of quantities
Technical Bid analysis
General arrangement drawings
Design calculation report
Review of 3-D model
Design review for electrical discipline documents
- Man-hour estimation for electrical work and maintain productivity
- Review the work progress periodically and maintain the record
- Coordinate with Vendors/ contractors for enquiry floating and TBE
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
- Conduct appraisal review / feedback session to team
- Requirements and skills
- Proven working experience in electrical design in pharma / Semiconductor projects
- Advanced knowledge of the latest electrical equipment, technologies.
- Expert relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards for electrical design
- Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, E TAP, BIM etc.
- Competency in conflict and crisis management
- Leadership and human resources management skills
- Excellent time and project management skills
- Interdisciplinary coordination with other disciplines such as architectural, piping, HVAC, mechanical, automation, etc.
- Communication and interpersonal skills including influencing.
- Ability to work/ delegate in a team as well as own initiative.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's / master's degree in electrical engineering.
- 15+ years relevant experience in Industrial projects is a must.
- Candidate working in an Engineering consulting firm will be preferred
