About the role
Are you passionate about credit risk?
Would you like to join a team responsible for producing and certifying the Group’s cost of risk, a key component of Société Générale’s financial results and communication?
Working within RISQ/ERM means:
- Engaging in intellectually stimulating work
- Operating in a fast-paced environment influenced by economic and geopolitical developments
- Collaborating closely with multiple business lines and risk departments
It is also an opportunity to gain high-value expertise in modern banking.
Your ResponsibilitiesThrough the review of the Group's or part of the Group's exposures, these analyses make it possible to:
- Propose reporting design/improvement in case of new demand from the tool at your disposal;
- Control the quality of the reporting before submission;
- Identify, understand and explain risk trends and potentially propose a first analysis to adapt risk appetite if necessary, in active collaboration with PRM’s analyst in Paris;
- Promote and explain the dashboards made available, including the portfolio EWS.
More specifically, you will be required to:
- Design, carry out and propose recurring (CORISQ, CRC, etc.) or one-off portfolio analyses, combining a transversal vision of risks and a relevant analysis in relation to the economic and business environment.
- Detect, from the tools at your disposal, your own analyses or analyses co-constructed with the Paris PRM team and through portfolio analyses, weak signals of deterioration, weakening (of portfolios, counterparties composing them) or inconsistencies in risk markers. In this context:
- contribute through this work to the sampling of the perimeters and files on which individual reviews will be carried out by the control team (in charge of the sample controls);
- contribute to formalize adjustments to risk appetite if the evolution of a portfolio justifies it (restriction of granting criteria, strengthening of guidelines, reduction of CORISQ limits, etc.) with PRM-WSB/RBK teams and management.
Contribute to the standardization of portfolio analysis indicators and methodologies. This is done through homogeneous metrics and the exploitation of relevant internal and external data sources
