At Aditya Birla Renewables Ltd., we are building large-scale renewable energy projects that contribute to India's clean energy future. We are looking for a highly driven Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience in Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) installation and commissioning to lead site execution activities and ensure safe, timely, and quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Lead mechanical erection and installation activities for Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs).
- Supervise tower, nacelle, hub, blade, and drivetrain installation activities.
- Coordinate with OEMs, EPC contractors, crane agencies, and site teams for seamless project execution.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards, quality requirements, and approved erection procedures.
- Plan and monitor heavy-lift and critical crane operations.
- Support commissioning activities and ensure timely project handover to O&M teams.
- Drive project progress, productivity, and adherence to schedule milestones.
What We're Looking For
- 10-12 years of experience in mechanical construction, installation, or commissioning.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Wind Energy projects.
- Strong understanding of WTG erection methodologies and commissioning practices.
- Experience managing heavy-lift operations and crawler/mobile cranes.
- Hands-on exposure to site execution, contractor management, and project coordination.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and execution excellence.
- GWO Certification or Work-at-Height Certification preferred.
