About the role
Requirements:
- Strong Android and Linux kernel stability expertise: Demonstrated in-depth understanding and hands-on experience with Android system internals and the Linux kernel.
- Exceptional crash analysis and root cause identification skills: Proven ability to analyze complex system crashes, hangs, and bugs and identify their precise root causes.
- Android build analysis and understanding: In-depth knowledge of the Android build system, various build configurations, and their impact on stability.
- Hands-on knowledge of debugging tools (e. g., GDB, system-specific debuggers), profiling tools, and log analysis techniques. Proficiency with Android Debug Bridge (ADB) and logging mechanisms.
- Experience in analyzing ram dumps (essential).
- Good communication, reporting, and documentation abilities.
- Extensive experience (3+ years) in Android system stability analysis and root cause identification.
- Expert-level knowledge of kernel debugging and ramdump analysis.
- Deep understanding of Android's memory management, process management, and inter-process communication (IPC) mechanisms.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams, mentor engineers, and drive complex investigations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
