About the role
Responsibilities:
- Lead Embedded Linux development and integration.
- Linux BSP customization.
- System integration and debugging.
- Kernel optimization.
- Technical leadership and mentoring.
- Embedded Linux.
- Kernel internals.
- Device drivers.
- Build systems: Yocto/Buildroot.
- Shell scripting.
Requirements:
- Expectation is to have embedded Linux knowledge, i. e., Linux distributions (Yocto and Ubuntu), kernel, boot flow, and system architecture.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Linux distributions such as Yocto, Debian, and Ubuntu, including customization, integration, and deployment.
- Deep expertise in Linux embedded systems, covering kernel and user-space development, operating system concepts, file systems, processes, and system architecture.
- Strong knowledge of software configuration management (SCM) with Git and GitHub, including branching strategies, code reviews, and workflow automation.
- Experience with build systems (such as BitBake, CMake, and Make) and automated build/test processes for embedded Linux platforms.
