Role SummaryThe Maintenance Head is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising all mechanical maintenance activities in the relay manufacturing facility.
The role includes preventive and breakdown maintenance, minimizing downtime, and ensuring smooth operation of all production equipment.
Key Responsibilities● Lead the mechanical maintenance team and oversee preventive maintenance schedules.
● Ensure timely repair and upkeep of machines, utilities, and equipment.
● Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues with minimal downtime.
● Maintain inventory of critical spares and coordinate with purchase for replenishment.
● Implement safety practices and ensure compliance during maintenance activities.
● Keep updated documentation of maintenance logs, machine history, and calibration records.
● Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost-saving projects.
Qualification & Experience● Qualification: Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering.
● Experience: Minimum 5–10 years in plant and machinery maintenance, preferably in the manufacturing/relay industry.
● Remuneration -30,000- 35,000
Skills Required● Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (presses, molding machines, assembly lines)
● Preventive and predictive maintenance planning
● Root cause analysis and problem-solving
● Basic knowledge of electrical and utility systems (compressed air, cooling, etc.)
● Familiarity with TPM, 5S, and safety standards
