About the role
- Perform plumbing repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance.
- Diagnose and rectify water leaks, blockages, and plumbing fixture faults.
- Assist electrical maintenance technicians with basic maintenance activities.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing and other facility systems and report maintenance issues.
- Carry out minor general maintenance works as required.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts in proper condition.
- Follow all safety procedures and company maintenance standards.
- Maintain records of completed maintenance activities and update maintenance logs.
- Coordinate with other maintenance team members to ensure timely resolution of facility-related issues.
- 2 years of experience in facility/building maintenance or a similar role.
- Strong practical knowledge of plumbing systems, fittings, fixtures, and repairs.
- Basic knowledge of electrical maintenance and ability to safely assist electricians.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to handle multiple maintenance activities and prioritize urgent issues.
- Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team.
- Willingness to travel to different company locations/sites, if required.
- ITI/Diploma in Plumbing, Fitter, or a related trade.
- Multi-skilled maintenance training/certification is preferred.
- Relevant experience in commercial offices, warehouses, or industrial facilities will be an added advantage.
