Job Description: IT Manager

The IT Manager specializing in IT Infrastructure and SAP S/4HANA is responsible for overseeing the technology backbone of the organization, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable operations that support business objectives. This role encompasses both the management of the physical and cloud-based IT infrastructure as well as the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the SAP S/4HANA enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. The IT Manager serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that IT solutions are aligned with organizational goals and deliver maximum value.

·IT Infrastructure Management

·Oversee the planning, deployment, and maintenance of the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, data centers, and cloud solutions.

·Ensure high availability, performance, and security of all IT systems and services.

·Manage relationships with hardware, software, and service vendors; negotiate contracts and monitor service-level agreements (SLAs).

·Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and expansion projects, ensuring minimal business disruption.

·Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and proactively address potential issues.

·Supervise IT support teams to resolve user issues, manage incidents, and provide technical guidance.

·Design and oversee disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

·Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation for all infrastructure components and procedures.

SAP S/4HANA Management

Lead the end-to-end support of SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, from needs assessment and design through deployment and post-go-live support.

Collaborate with business process users to define requirements, map processes, and configure SAP S/4HANA modules (MM, SD, PP, QM etc.).

Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to leverage new SAP functionalities or best practices.

Provide or facilitate training for users to maximize adoption and effective use of SAP S/4HANA modules.

Implement cybersecurity measures to safeguard information assets and minimize risks, including regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.

Promote a culture of security awareness among all staff through training and communications.

Team Leadership and Development

Supervise and mentor IT staff, fostering professional development and promoting technical excellence.

Act as the primary point of contact for plant IT matters, translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Present IT infrastructure and SAP S/4HANA roadmaps, project updates, and performance metrics to senior management and other stakeholders.

Facilitate change management activities to support business transformation initiatives.

·Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field .

·8+ years of experience in IT management with a strong focus on infrastructure and ERP (SAP S/4HANA) systems.

The IT Manager will report to Sr. Manager IT. The position requires collaboration with business leaders, functional managers, end-users, and external partners.
