About the role

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:· Responsible for overall manufacturing of the range of products to deliver to the customer.· Responsible for capacity planning capacity build up to meet the customer demand.· Responsible for capacity utilization and optimization of operational cost.· Ensure the proper manufacturing, supply chain and quality systems are put in place.· Responsible for building strong internal leadership pipeline.· Responsible for preparing month-wise Production Plan which include raw material, packing material requirement, manpower schedule & requirement update as & when required.· Responsible to monitor and control yield and efficiency of all products.· Responsible to converting Order Copy (OC) to final product meeting all Specifications.· Co-ordinate along with Engineering/Maintenance Dept. for Preventive maintenance to ensure zero downtime in direct & indirect production/production related equipment’s.· Monitor production status daily, weekly, monthly and ensure timely delivery. Prepare production MIS, Review & implement action points.· Responsible for Consumable requisition & effectively utilize production consumables with the allotted budget.· Responsible for proper production documentation as per requirement of Quality Management System of the organization in line with cGMP requirements.· Responsible for preparing plant for customer/regulatory audits in co-ordination with various depts.· Prepare SOP’s & implementing effective techniques to bring efficiency & improve quality standards to achieve cost saving.· Responsible for new product scale up as per the TTD in coordination with Product Development Team, Business Process Excellence Team, and Quality team.· Ensure that the production block is always complying with QMS/GMP/5S & other regulatory requirements.· Conduct training & development activities to improve job knowledge, safety, Production Performance & advancement opportunities of fellow team members.· Support HR in employee hiring, performance evaluation and employee retention activities· Ensure manpower discipline on the production shopfloor & take corrective actions if needed.· Responsible for overall maintenance of safety of Department and personnel.· Responsible for maintaining plant effluents with desired parameters· Responsible for preparation of Production Budget.· Responsible to maintain and follow ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 in the plants.
