About the role
Requirements:
- Minimum and Preferred. Inclusive of Licenses/Certs (include functional experience as well as behavioural attributes and/or leadership capabilities).
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and managing a team of engineers.
- Advanced proficiency with Java, the SDLC, and solid knowledge of microservice architecture.
- Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend libraries/frameworks (ReactJS or similar).
- Strong hands-on knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, Postgres, etc. ), including schema and query design, as well as NoSQL (e. g., DynamoDB) database technologies.
- Hands-on experience building performant web-based user interfaces.
- Demonstrable analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
- Strong foundation in computer science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Great communication and collaboration skills and a strong teamwork ethic with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in ad tech.
- Experience with programmatic advertising or real-time bidding platforms.
Experience with:
- Spring Boot and related Spring projects.
- Relational databases, such as MySQL or Postgres
- Non-relational database technologies like DynamoDB.
- JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as React, Node.js .
- Caching datastores such as Redis, ValKey, or MemCache.
- Data Streaming Mechanisms such as Apache Kafka and/or AWS Kinesis.
- Cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Modern DevOps tools such as Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- BS or MS in Computer Science / Engineering or relevant work experience.
