Manager - Spares Sourcing

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Lead end-to-end spares readiness for new product launches, including IDK (Initial Dealer Kit) and IWK (Initial Warehouse Kit).
2. Coordinate across Engineering, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing, Quality, Sales, and Suppliers to ensure launch readiness.
3. Plan and execute sourcing, procurement, inventory, and distribution of launch-related spares and kits.
4. Ensure packaging price closure and material readiness before Start of Sales (SOS).
5. Drive AD Kit planning, availability, and deployment as per business requirements.
6. Monitor supplier performance, material availability, inventory levels, and launch KPIs to mitigate supply risks.
7. Manage engineering changes, part switchovers, and aftermarket spares readiness.
8. Ensure on-time dispatch of launch kits and spares to dealers and warehouses.
9. Drive inventory optimization, logistics efficiency, cost reduction, and continuous process improvements.
10. Support smooth development-to-sales transition for all new product launches.

Key Deliverables

• 100% IDK & IWK readiness for new product launches.
• Timely availability of launch spares, AD Kits, and aftermarket parts.
• On-time sourcing, procurement, and dispatch to dealers and warehouses.
• Supplier readiness and delivery performance.
• Packaging price closure before SOS.
• Launch shortage and supply risk mitigation.
• Inventory optimization and cost-effective logistics.
• Effective cross-functional coordination from development to sales.
• Continuous improvement in spares supply chain performance.

• Bachelor of Engineering; Bachelors of Technology, 

Experience 8 to 12 Years. 

Experience in the CDMM/component development, Product life cycle and hands of experience in the handling new project/ launch of vehicle.

Managing packaging price finalization

Strong understanding of SAP system and SCM flow.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
