About the role
Key Roles &Responsibilities Enable pan India Commercial Underwriting (UW) & Sales teams through Underwriting support from Mumbai office. (SME – PROPERTY, MARINE, ENGINEERING) (without any Limitation on Sum Insured) Contribute to development of innovative & comprehensive solutions/ process / raters / platforms for SME Underwriting & Underwriting automation. Drive SME business through sales teams & channels by providing best in class & technically advanced solutions matching to current & upcoming market requirements. Identifyniche & profitable segments, develop value propositions with Go to market plans. Evaluate the pan India SME/ Commercial lines portfolio on periodic basis, getinsightsand implement changes. Recommend solutions for Hazard categorization, conversion Matrix, Risk Accumulation Implement the Strategy, Policies,guidelinesand processes for Underwriting of Commercial Segment products in letter and spirit. Ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements in Underwriting, Products & Pricing. Effectively coordinate with the cross functional teams (Risk Engineering team, Sales team,channelsand Operations & Claims teams Key Requirements – Education & Certificates MBA and / or III certification Key Requirements - Experience &Skills Minimum of 3-5 years of underwriting experience
