We are looking for a skilled Software Test Engineer with expertise in both Manual and Automation Testing to join our dynamic team.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Manual Testing: Conduct functional, regression, integration, UAT, and system testing for web and client-server applications.
• Automation Testing: Develop and execute automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Java, TestNG, and Maven. Build TestNG frameworks and perform regression and UAT testing.
• SDLC & STLC Participation: Actively participate in all stages of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) processes. Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure efficient and smooth project execution.
• Agile Methodology: Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and defect triage.
• Test Documentation: Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test data, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and proper documentation.
• API Testing: Perform API testing using Postman, SoapUI, and Rest Assured. Validate web services and ensure that they meet specified requirements.
• Defect Tracking & Reporting: Use JIRA for defect management and work closely with developers to track defects through resolution.
• Cross-Browser Testing: Design and execute automated tests on different browsers and operating systems to ensure application compatibility and high coverage.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software and ensure seamless integration of features.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Testing Experience: Minimum 4.2 years of experience in both Manual and Automation Testing, with hands-on expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Java, TestNG, Maven, and JUnit.
• API Testing: Strong experience in RESTful APIs, SOAP, Postman, and Rest Assured for API testing.
• SQL: Strong SQL skills for backend testing and data validation.
• CI/CD Integration: Experience with Jenkins, Git, Maven for continuous integration and deployment.
• Version Control: Proficiency in Git and GitHub for version control.
• Bug Tracking & Test Management: Familiarity with tools like JIRA, BugZilla, and ALM.
• Test Frameworks: Experience with automation frameworks like Page Object Model (POM) and Cucumber (BDD).
• Operating Systems: Proficient in both Windows and Linux environments.
• Communication Skills: Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for efficiently resolving testing challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Selenium Grid for distributed test execution.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools.
• Experience in continuous testing practices.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree: B. Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Other Certifications: Relevant testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
