About the role
Requirements:
- 7+ years in marine/offshore electrical engineering.
- Mandatory / Key Skills: Electrical Power System Engineering, Switchboards, Distribution Boards, MCC, UPS, Battery Chargers and Inverters, Electrical Load Analysis.
- Similar to cable/breaker sizing and voltage drop, power system protection/relay settings/breaker coordination, and shipboard electrical systems.
- Experience in PMS / DP / Propulsion Control / Engine Control, Navigation and Communication / GMDSS, PAGA / ESD / Fire and Gas / CCTV / LAN and Wi-Fi, and Hazardous Area Engineering.
- Explosion-proof equipment / Intrinsically Safe Loop Calculations.
- Good to have: Drilling Rig Equipment / Drilling Control Systems, ETAP / SKM, AC Drives, PLC / DCS, MODBUS / CANBUS / Ethernet / Profibus / OPC.
