About the role
Work from Office
We have been in the enterprise ATS space for 10 years. Some of the best companies in the country run their hiring on MyNextHire. The next thousand TA leaders who should know us do not yet. We are not hiring someone to sell to them. We are hiring someone they will be glad to hear from, again and again, until MyNextHire is a name they know and a team they trust.
What you need to achieve
Build and keep warm a relationship with a fixed book of 2,000 TA and HR leaders, so that within 12 months 1,200 of them have had at least two real conversations with you, can say in one line what MyNextHire does, and 400 read our monthly update, with every contact touched at least once a quarter.
How the best people get there
- Open a conversation with a stranger on the phone and be someone they are happy to hear from the second time
- Stay curious about the other person's world: ask how they hire, what is hard about it, and remember the answer next quarter
- Keep 2,000 people's context straight and touch each of them on time, every quarter, without being told
- Bring the same energy to the 50th call of the day as to the first, on a day when most calls go unanswered
- A ready book of 2,000 named contacts, with usage data and history for the ones who are already clients
- A monthly update written by marketing. You add the one line that makes it personal, and the questions you hear every day are what marketing writes about next
- A sales team that takes over the moment a contact shows real interest, so you never have to pitch or close
- A quarterly milestone bonus as your book of known contacts grows, on numbers you control, with no targets attached
- A fixed bonus on any deal sourced from your book, paid at signing, with attribution agreed in writing before you start
- No lead targets, and no excuse for a cold book either. If a contact has not heard from you in a quarter, that is on you
- Most calls will not be answered, and some people will be short with you. Your job is to make the next one better, not to take it personally
- You will be talking to people far senior to you. Your preparation and your manners have to earn the minute they give you
- The handoff to sales is yours to make cleanly and quickly. A warm contact who waits a week goes cold
- In 12 months you will have spoken with more TA heads at large companies than most salespeople do in a career, and you will know how enterprise hiring actually works
- You learn the discipline that every sales, customer success and consulting role is built on: being someone people want to hear from
- This role is a launchpad. After 12 months and your known-contacts milestone, you move into SDR, customer success or consulting. The people who do this well are the ones we move first
- The 2,000 relationships you build are yours in every sense that matters. They are the start of your network in this industry
