About the role
As a Marketing Officer, you have to combine technical skills with sales skills to distribute industrial products and services by having abundant knowledge about the functions of technical products.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying business opportunities and contacting prospects.
- Evaluating the position in the industry and analysing sales options.
- Selling products by establishing contact and creating a good rapport with the customers.
- Maintaining good relationships with the customer by providing necessary assistance and recommending new opportunities.
- Identifying new markets or product improvement based on customer preferences and current trends in the market.
- Collaborating with the sales team to attain objectives.
- Maintaining and updating reports on sales by summarising information and updating the sales software.
Requirements:
- Good Knowledge about cutting tools (Milling/U driil/Grooving/Turning, etc. ) selection/trials/trouble shooting/wear analysis, drg study and tool selection.
- Ability to conduct commercial negotiations.
- Good Techno-Commercial skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and machines.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Marathi.
- Conducting trials of manufacturing solutions on customer machines.
