PURPOSE

Within the framework of project vehicle, the MATERIALS PROJECT LEADER is appointed of the development and industrialization of decorated and trimmed part (aspect parts on the interior and exterior of the car – not including body color parts), of their grain, harmony, finisher, soft material and plastic material, according to the project targets (costs, timing, quality and services).

On MXPE technical perimeter:

 To Ensure the QCDP target of MXPE perimeter

 To guaranty the materials and processes definitions of the parts and components in line with the material policy, the lawful and functional requirements and the economic constraints

 To carry out style / technique convergence of the decorated parts of the project, for ensuring a project / style / Brand / BDEE-MIEE / GPSQ / Quality compromise, in line with materials requirement

 To ensure the materials and processes support to the projects’ attendees concerning DCHM, DSEE and DCTC perimeter

 To guaranty the synthesis of innovative aspects connected on the project and ensure the lessons learn application

 To guaranty a transversal support to the project and reports to the RTSS

The MATERIALS PROJECT LEADER activity is apply within the affected project in the respect of QCDP target.

MISSIONS

4 REQUIREMENTS

1. Ensure the project liaison

- To be the window person of the RTss concerning MXPE topics (C&T, plastic, rubber and glazing)

- To ensure the reporting of QCDP material development to the project

- To define resources and material PIV budget for MXPE in line with project reference and levers identified and confirmed

- To manage resources and PIV budget animation for MXPE

- To realize the MXPE technical review of the project for each milestone, and share it with the RTss for global DCHM technical review

- To prepare the MXPE topics for level 2 meeting and to participate

- To manage the escalation process to the project in case of MXPE requirement failure

2. Manage the MXPE team on project

- To ensure the information sharing from project (QCDP) to MXPE team for deliverables management

- To share the detailed timing of off line car, on line Car (VRS DV, VRS UT & EL)

3. Ensure the MXPE risky part animation

- To build and manage a list of risky parts for MXPE based on the risk analysis coming from innovation, new technology, new materials, new supplier, lessons learn, …

- To manage the escalation process to the project in case of non-respect for the “métier” rules

4. To ensure the MXPE deliverables

- To confirm the schedule for MXPE deliverables to reach the RT/RAL robustness and PLM quotation (ST MXPE, RFQ opinion, DFNu and Ro quotation):

o To pilot the schedule for deliverables

o To make the MXPE synthesis for global quotation to add it into PLM system

- To plan and manage the grain review on plan progress to prepare the TKO

- To realize technical and economical assessment for each C&T milestone, with technical opinion from MXPE team

- To define risky part list, one for the development phase, other one for the industrialization phase

- To build the part to part to manage the aspect development (grain review, PEG and aspect validation)

- To do the MXPE technical review

5. To ensure the style/technic convergence (before PCM)

- To define the QCDP synthesis of the project concerning the MXPE perimeter

- To build the C&T schedule in line with the project timing

- To ensure the choice of the décor technology in conformity with the organic PoRo in progress for the top hat

- To manage the C&T innovative technology connected on the project in line with the “métier” rules

- To build a “C&T PoRo” at the PCM to manage the economic development of décor parts during the project

6. To ensure the style/technique convergence (between PCM and TKOM)

- To realize the style/technique convergence of decorated and trimmed parts concerning Grain Harmony, finishers and soft trim:

o To ensure the respect or the timing and the good technical MXPE convergence

o To manage the technic and economic convergence of new development of the MXPE perimeter (QCDP): new grain, new harmony, new décor and new soft material (for seats confection and décor part)

o To ensure the aspect definition coming from style/technique convergence in line with the QCDP target of the project (number of tools, diversity, etc…)

o To ensure the respect of economic target validated into the C&T PoRo

- For each C&T milestone, to write an economical and technical C&T assessment (for G&H and D&G vectors) with the technical & economical synthesis from MXPE field (economical synthesis of finisher and trims to build with CAP€ and/or GPSG and/or BDEE/MIEE)

- To realize the aspect synthesis into the part to part file: synthesis of the aspect decided (grain code/color code for each parts) after G&H milestone and D&G milestone

- To manage the master sample for each new aspect (and the codification of these new aspects) after DEC milestone, according to the schedule

7. To manage industrialization and MXPE deliverable (after TKOM)

- To build a list of risk part for industrialization coming from the lessons learn of development phase before TKO (new technology, new production plant, …) to plan a reinforce management of the supplier (regular meeting with the supplier, schedule of the aspect development, management of the material PIV, …)

- To ensure the management of the aspect validation of the parts in line wth the project timing (grain review vs graining assessment sheet, aspect validation on parts, conformity of the C&T definition, materials and processes audit, …)

- To realize tripartite meeting between soft material supplier, part supplier and PSA to manage the good convergence and delivery of soft material.

- tn ensure the reporting of project information, IQx defect, driving test, … to the MXPE team to ensure the robustness of the materials and define action plan if needed.
