About the role
Key responsibilities:
- Lead all ongoing and expansion projects within the operational hospital.
- Manage Civil, MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire) and Interior works.
- Plan and execute brownfield projects without disturbing hospital operations.
- Coordinate with hospital departments, consultants, architects, PMC, contractors and vendors.
- Review drawings, BOQ, specifications, estimates and project schedules.
- Control project cost, budget, quality and timelines.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously from planning to handover.
- Ensure compliance with hospital standards, fire & life safety, NABH/JCI requirements and statutory approvals.
- Monitor contractor performance, billing, material procurement and site progress.
- Conduct regular project review meetings and provide MIS/dashboard reports to management.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Ensure proper testing, commissioning, snag rectification and final handover.
- Lead renovation and infrastructure upgrades in live clinical areas, OT, ICU, wards, diagnostic areas and support services.
