As a Functional Subject Matter Expert, a typical day involves ensuring that business processes are accurately reflected within the system by applying comprehensive knowledge of operational workflows. The role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to validate that the system's functionality aligns with real-world business needs. This includes reviewing and confirming requirements, analysing workflows, and ensuring that the implemented solutions support the intended business outcomes effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify process improvements and optimise system functionality.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional.
- Strong understanding of financial business processes and their integration within enterprise resource planning systems.
- Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and workflow validation.
- Ability to analyse complex business scenarios and translate them into functional specifications.
