Mines Manager - Multiple Locations

• Position: Mines Manager - IOO/IOG/IOK
• Location: IOO (Barbil, Odisha), IOG (Bicholim, Goa) & IOK (Chitradurga, Karnataka)
• Grade : M4

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible to plan, direct, coordinate and accomplish the production targets of mines and plants.
• Ensuring optimal accomplishment of OEE.
• Ensure safe operations with focus on cost reduction and quality enhancement.
• Benchmark best in class operations and mine planning procedure across mining industries to ensure operational excellence.
• Work on focused improvement projects with cross functional teams to accomplish excellence.
• Harmonious and outcome-oriented working with MDO’s and internal stakeholders.
• Responsible for overall Health, Safety & Environment performance of mining operations.
• Accountable to communicate IMS & VSGS objectives to all concerned and create awareness on their role in achieving the targets in mining operations.
• To liaison with DGMS to ensure compliance and smooth functioning of mining operations.
• Carry out all duties and responsibilities as per Metalliferous Mines Regulations Act, 1961.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of ore and waste at mines

Experiences & Qualification: 

B.E. in Mining (First class Mines Manager Certification in Metal) with 8+ years of experience will be preferred.
