Role Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
Define API-led connectivity architecture (System, Process, Experience APIs)
Lead MuleSoft (Mule 4) development and ensure quality delivery
Manage API lifecycle: design, publish, secure, monitor, retire
Implement API policies (security, throttling, rate limiting) via API Manager
Establish API governance standards (versioning, documentation, reuse)
Drive monitoring & observability (Anypoint Monitoring, integrations with ELK/Splunk)
Ensure security (OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS) and compliance
Mentor team, conduct design/code reviews, and support agile delivery
Collaborate with stakeholders and support presales/solutioning
Required Skills:Strong in Mule 4, DataWeave, REST/SOAP, RAML/OpenAPI
Hands-on with API Management (Anypoint Partner Manager): API Manager, Exchange, governance, Certificate management
Experience in API security, versioning, and lifecycle management
Exposure to CI/CD, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), messaging (Kafka/JMS)
MuleSoft certifications
Preferred:
Experience with platforms like Salesforce or SAP
Background in enterprise/regulated environments (e.g., banking)
Soft Skills:
Leadership, communication, stakeholder management
Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset
