About the role
●5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure/Data Center, with strong hands-on experience in Cisco UCS.
●3+ years of experience managing Cisco UCS B-Series and C-Series servers, including UCS chassis and rack-mount servers.
●Good experience with Cisco UCS rack mount servers’ integration with Fabric interconnects including network and storage connectivity and end to end troubleshooting.
●Strong hands-on experience with Cisco UCS Manager, Cisco Intersight, Service Profiles, and Service Profile Templates.
●Experience configuring vNICs, vHBAs, VLANs, VSANs, MAC/WWN pools, LAN and SAN connectivity.
●Good understanding of UCS Fabric A/B redundancy, uplinks, port-channels, and connectivity with Cisco Nexus switches.
●Strong understanding of end-to-end LAN and SAN connectivity/traffic flow across Server, IOM, Fabric Interconnect, Nexus, and SAN.
●Experience with UCS firmware policies, firmware upgrades, server discovery, hardware replacement, and lifecycle management.
●Hands-on experience with Cisco C-Series rack servers and CIMC, including server hardware configuration and troubleshooting.
●Good experience of VMware ESXi, vCenter, vDS deployment, and UCS–VMware integration from the infrastructure perspective.
●Hands on experience of VMware vSphere cluster configuration, HA , DRS and troubleshooting.
