KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Network Infrastructure & Operations
· Administer and support enterprise LAN, WAN, and Wireless network infrastructure.
· Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity using network monitoring platforms.
· Support branch office connectivity and WAN services.
· Work with ISPs and third-party vendors to resolve circuit and connectivity issues.
Configuration & Troubleshooting
· Configure and troubleshoot switching, routing, VLANs, and wireless connectivity issues.
· Support wireless controllers, access points, SSIDs, guest access, and roaming services.
· Troubleshoot network latency, packet loss, bandwidth utilization, and connectivity issues.
· Perform firmware upgrades, configuration backups, and scheduled network maintenance.
Monitoring & Incident Management
· Monitor network alerts, events, and performance metrics to proactively identify and resolve issues.
· Analyze network logs, SNMP data, and monitoring dashboards for fault resolution.
· Participate in incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis (RCA).
· Provide Level-2 support and escalation handling for network and wireless incidents.
Documentation & Projects
· Maintain up-to-date network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
· Support network deployments, upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure expansion projects.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
· 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Network Operations, Network Support, or Wireless Administration.
· Proven experience supporting enterprise LAN, WAN, and Wireless environments.
· Hands-on expertise with routing protocols, switching technologies, and wireless troubleshooting.
· Proficiency in using network monitoring and alerting platforms (e.g., PRTG, SolarWinds, Nagios, or similar).
· Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot enterprise connectivity, performance degradation, and fault isolation.
· Experience working in multi-site enterprise environments is strongly preferred.
· Ready to work on 3 shift rotations support, on basis request support for on-call and scheduled support maintenance activities.
