Role & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological conditions including stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson’s, dementia, and neuromuscular disorders.
- Lead inpatient and outpatient neurology consultations, coordinating care with neurosurgeons, radiologists, and rehabilitation specialists.
- Perform and interpret EEGs, EMGs, lumbar punctures, and neuroimaging studies in collaboration with diagnostic teams.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including pharmacological management and non-invasive interventions.
- Mentor junior residents and medical staff, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and continuing education.
- Participate in hospital rounds, multidisciplinary case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
