About the role
- Proven experience as a Monitoring Tool Administrator with a focus on Nagios and New Relic.
- Strong knowledge of New Relic APM, Infrastructure, and Synthetics.
- Familiarity with application architecture, cloud services, and microservices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Understanding of creating the muting rules during the maintenance mode.
- Experience in onboarding Applications,servers,infrastructure to New Relic and Nagios.
- Experience in integrating the cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) with the New Relic and Nagios tool.
- Interact with customers/ different stakeholders to understand and configure monitoring thresholds, alerts, and policies.
- Experience in Creating Dashboards and configuring thresholds in New Relic
- Good knowledge of configuring and fine-tuning thresholds based on the requirement
- Knowledge of Configuring webhooks, SNOW, other notification methods in New Relic to Integrate with ITSM tools
- Good Experience in Troubleshooting issues related to Nagios and New Relic
- Should have a good understanding of costing involved in New Relic configurations
- Should provide Inputs to integrate New Relic with ITSM products
- Good knowledge of OS monitoring, NCPA, NRPE, Application monitoring, service monitoring
- Experience in monitoring of the network devices using ICMP and SNMP.
- Understanding of integrating the Nagios tool with ITSM Tools (Preferably Cherwell and ServiceNow)
- Must have client-facing role earlier
- Good Oral and written communication
- Willing to learn New Technologies
