Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer to join our backend development team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and REST APIs using Node.js.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Work with frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS.
• Design and optimize database schemas and queries.
• Work with MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Implement authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth 2.0, etc.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams.
• Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
• Work with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js.
• Experience with Express.js / NestJS.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and HTTP protocols.
• Good knowledge of MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming, Promises, and async/await.
• Knowledge of Git and GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Good knowledge of debugging and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Redis and caching.
• Knowledge of Kafka / RabbitMQ.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Experience with automated testing using Jest, Mocha, or Chai.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
